Kuehne + Nagel gains two new customers for its Dubai Aerospace Hub
KUEHNE + Nagel has announced that Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation and Avtrade have selected the Swiss forwarder's to handle their Middle East and African businesses at Dubai Aerospace Hub located in Dubai Logistics City, close to the Al Maktoum International Airport.
The hub provides a wide range of aerospace services including inspection, warehousing of aircraft spare parts and tooling, plus inbound and outbound logistics. In addition, the hub offers frequent and short connections to the Middle East and Africa region as well as to other parts of the world, a statement from the logistics giant said.
"Our new distribution centre is in a prime location to serve our customers," said president, Gulfstream Product Support, Derek Zimmerman.
"Al Maktoum International is projected to be the world's largest airport and appears poised to become the preferred business aviation airport in the Dubai area. The state-of-the-art facility within the fast-cycle logistics environment of Dubai South will enable us to more efficiently address customer requirements."
