Hong Kong port down 12.8pc in October to 1.6 million TEU, Singapore down 16pc
FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department showed the port handled 1.59 million TEU in October, representing a year-on-year decrease of 12.8 per cent from 1.8 million TEU in October last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 16 per cent decrease in container movement in October, having handled 2.5 million TEU compared to 2.97 million TEU in October last year.
