IAG Cargo upgrades reservation processes with Accenture software
IAG Cargo, the freight arm of British Airways and Iberia, has installed software from Accenture to deliver more flexible reservation processes for all of its commercial cargo operations around the globe.
The US-based software provider said its Accenture Air Cargo Reservation software offers the cargo carrier "improvements both in functionality and performance," reported Air Cargo News.
Head of revenue management at IAG Cargo, Gareth Sinclair, said: "With improved core booking and inventory management capabilities, Accenture freight and logistics software enables us to be more flexible and efficient with our business processes.
"As a result, we can offer more options and better products and pricing for our customers, enabling us to be more competitive in the global market."
