Cargolux Italia starts second direct Milan to Zhengzhou flight
CARGOLUX Italia has commenced a second weekly flight between Milan Malpensa in Italy and its Chinese hub at Zhengzhou. The airline launched its first Zhengzhou flight in June.
The extra flight, C8 8777, departs Milan on Sunday mornings at 11:50 and, like the existing service, operates via Novosibirsk, Russia, reported Air Cargo News.
Chief executive Pierandrea Galli was quoted as saying: "With our second service from Milan, Cargolux Italia and the Cargolux Group can significantly boost its presence in both markets. It also underlines Cargolux Italia status as the main all-cargo carrier at Malpensa and main supporter of our Italian customers."
The service is the only direct air cargo connection between Milan and Zhengzhou. Commodities moved include Italian fashion goods, machinery and mechanical spare parts.
