Lufthansa Cargo adds Ho Chi Minh City service to freighter network
LUFTHANSA Cargo has launched a weekly service to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, as part of the new winter schedule, operated by a Boeing 777 freighter.
The service departs every Thursday from Frankfurt, heading for Ho Chi Minh City via Mumbai, and then flies on to Hong Kong, reported American Journal of Transportation (AJOT).
Vice president, Asia Pacific, Frank Naeve said the company is pleased about the stable demand coming from Vietnam: "We are proud to have built up excellent relationships with our clients in Vietnam, which we will now be further cultivating with the fixed freighter connection.
"Using our flexible network management we will be able to effectively meet demand. We are constantly working on making our network in the Asia-Pacific region even more attractive for our customers."
