Kansas City's combined air cargo traffic rises 1.8pc in August
THE Aviation Department of Kansas City, Missouri, has reported that in August total air freight volumes, comprising both freight and mail rose by 1.8 per cent, at the international airport (KCI) with a total of 15.5 million pounds handled.
Air cargo remained flat at 14.8 million pounds, while air mail soared by 70.6 per cent year on year to 681,694 pounds.
In a separate development, Alaska Airlines will commence daily non-stop service between Kansas City and Portland, Oregon from February 18, reported Kansas City Infozine.
