A-E off 31pc to US$313/TEU, off 6.4pc to USWC, off 4.5pc to USEC
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe fell 31 per cent to US$313 per TEU last Friday, according to Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI) data, Reuters reported.
Rates fell 30.1 per cent from Asia to the Mediterranean to $552 per TEU, fell 6.4 per cent to the US west coast to $1,291 per FEU and were down 4.5 per cent to $2,318 per FEU to the US east coast.
