CMA CGM raises Gulf, India, Pakistan to Europe rate US$150/TEU October 1
FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM will increase the freight rate US$150 per TEU and $250 per FEU on laden containers from the Arabian Gulf, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka to north Europe, Med, Scandinavia, Baltic, Black Sea, North Africa, Central America-Caribbean and South America from October 1.
The Marseille-based shipping company, a member of the Ocean Three Alliance, described the increase as rate restoration programme needed to "provide quality services", said the CMA CGM release.
