Khalifa Port Container Terminal adds HMM Korea Middle East Service
ABU DHABI's Khalifa Port Container Terminal (KPCT), operated by Abu Dhabi Terminals (ADT), has added the new Korea Middle East Service (KMS) from Hyundai Merchant Marine (HMM) that started calling on September 5. The maiden call was made by the 6,800-TEU Hyundai Bangkok.
The weekly KMS stops at ports between South Korea and the Middle East Gulf, and it became the fourth new service to call at the terminal since the beginning of the year, reported London's Container Management magazine.
The port rotation is: Kwang Yang, Busan, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Shenzhen-Yantian, Hong Kong, Singapore, Port Kelang, Jebel Ali, Khalifa Port, Bandar Abbas, Karachi, Singapore, Hong Kong, returning to Kwang Yang.
