A-E fell 23pc to US$588/TEU, up 0.3pc to USWC, off 0.1pc to USEC
SPOT rates for shipping containers from Asia to northern Europe fell 23 per cent to US$588 per TEU last Friday, according to Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI) data.
Asia-Med rates fell 33 per cent to $613 per TEU - 55 per cent lower year on year. Transpacific rates remained flat last week at $1,461 per FEU. The all-water via Panama was also flat at $2,670 per FEU.
