Damco to provide logistics services to lift manufacturer KONE
DAMCO, Maersk's third-party logistics providers, has signed a global transportation agreement to ship KONE's lifts, escalators and spare parts to overseas destinations by ocean freight and land transportation.
This comes as the lift manufacturer is experiencing rising international demand for its products, and needed a logistics partner to support its projects in both developed and emerging markets, statement from the logistics company said.
Said Damco account director Rene Fjord: "Our expertise and global footprint fits KONE's requirements well and we have full confidence that we through our partnership can continuously assist KONE to increase the efficiency of their supply chain performance."
