Yusen Logistics Russia offers road and air customs clearance
JAPAN's Yusen Logistics Russia (YLRU) has become a Federal Customs licence holder, introducing a wide portfolio of customs clearance offerings within the Russian Federation.
With more than 10 years' experience in the Russian market, the company is now able to offer customers total end-to-end logistics solutions within the region, said the Yusen statement.
New services include full customs clearance of all cargo types delivered by road and air, preparation of the required documentation for import or export customs declarations, preparation of AWB, CMR, TIR Carnets, including electronic copies and definition of product codes.
Also on offer customer support on tariff regulations and fees, duties and VAT as well as customer support on non-tariff regulation: certificates, permits and notifications.
Yusen will also advise on all aspects of customs clearance and customs inspection of goods.
Yusen will introduce its services at the following locations: North West Customs (St Petersburg and city airports), South Customs (Novorossiysk), Far East Customs Vladivostok and Nakhodka) and Central Customs (Moscow and city airports).
As part of the new service, YLRU will be supporting customs clearance activity at an early stage in the process; managing the necessary documentation to enable the completion of customs clearance at short notice, enhancing flows through the international supply chain, the company statement said.
Said Yusen Logistics Russia commercial chief Dennis Pastukhov: "Such a step forward will allow us not only to concentrate responsibility in one hand, but also to provide a competitive service. This will reduce costs for our customers in these difficult economic times."
