United Airlines first half air cargo increases 7.9pc to 1.51 billion ton miles
UNITED Airlines (UAL) has posted 7.9 per cent increase in first half cargo revenue ton miles to 1.51 billion and a 1.9 per cent second quarter improvement in volume to 216.25 million tons year on year.
UAL's July 2015 revenue passenger miles increased 2.8 per cent and consolidated capacity (available seat miles) increased 2.4 per cent year on year with a July load factor up 0.3 points compared to July 2014.
United Airlines and United Express operate an average of nearly 5,000 flights a day to 362 airports across six continents. In 2014, United and United Express operated nearly two million flights carrying 138 million customers.
