Asia-north Europe Shanghai spot rate falls 29.5pc to US$400/TEU
SPOT rates on the Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI) on the China-north Europe route fell 29.5 per cent to US$400 per TEU on Friday, reported IHS Maritime media.
The spot rate fell by more than a fifth over the past week, falling by $118, down from a peak of $879 per TEU at the beginning of the month.
