US east coast ports lead the pack in US import growth in first half
EIGHT US east coast ports were among the top 10 fastest-growing major US ports in the first half of 2015, edging out all but two west coast rivals, reports Piers data
Of the top 10 fastest-growing ports for the first six months of 2015, Savannah took the No 1 spot with container imports up 33 per cent year on year, at 814,384 TEU. Then came Seattle and Miami, both posting 21 per cent per cent growth.
