India's Dubai-owned Shreyas Shipping and Logistics adds two boxships
DUBAI's Transworld Group unit, Shreyas Shipping and Logistics, has added a 700-TEU and a 3,000-TEU ship to its fleet, bringing its total to eight vessels.
"Shreyas plans to operate both newly acquired vessels on the Indian coast thereby plying all its eight container vessels, with a total capacity of 11,954 TEU and 168,400 dwt, for coastal shipping," said Transworld chairman Ramesh Ramakrishnan.
Mr Ramakrishnan said that there were plans afoot to service Bangladeshi ports, once it adds two more ships in the next 12 months, reported Singapore's Splash 24.7.
