Major port users tell Savannah success stories in new video
THE Georgia Ports Authority is releasing four testimonial videos in a campaign sharing the competitive advantages of Georgia's deepwater ports.
The four-part series, "Gateway to the World," shows logistics experts from companies such as Caterpillar, Georgia Pacific, Home Depot and Lowe's describe why Georgia's ports are critical to their supply chains.
"This initiative speaks through the voices of those who have experienced the service levels delivered by the Port of Savannah," said GPA executive director Curtis Foltz.
"Port users share their stories of achieving greater cargo velocity and improved market reach by using Georgia's deepwater ports."
As the fourth busiest container port in the nation, the Port of Savannah is an integral part of the global supply chain, said the port statement.
