Taranto Container Terminal shuts down, lays off staff
ITALY's Taranto Container Terminal has dismissed its employees, having decided to wind up the affairs of the enterprise, the Taranto Port Authority announced.
As part of the process, the company has convened an extraordinary meeting of both the advisory committee and the port committee on the issue.
These meeting will effect the withdrawal of the concession of the state-owned maritime property areas, as provided by today's regulation No 67/15 by the president of Taranto Port Authority.
