FRENCH shipping giant CMA CGM is to add New Orleans to its North Europe-south US east coast-US Gulf service, the Victory Bridge, while removing Savannah from the port rotation.
The Georgia port of Savannah will be served by the new North Europe-US east coast Liberty Solo service that made its first sailing from Antwerp earlier this month, reported Alphaliner.
The Victory Bridge service will call at Le Havre, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Bremerhaven, Charleston, Miami, Vera Cruz, Altamira, Houston, New Orleans, Miami, and back to Le Havre.
The weekly service deploys six ships ranging in size from 3,400 to 4,200 TEU. The first sailing is scheduled to depart from New Orleans on January 25.
