Ethiopian Airlines cargo plane crash lands at Accra airport
AN Ethiopian Airlines Boeing 737 freighter, operated by Asky Airlines, skidded off the runway at Accra's Kotoka International Airport (KIA) on landing and crashed.
All three crew members on board survived the accident but were treated for injuries at the 37 Military Hospital, the Ghana Airport Company (GAC) said in a statement.
The Boeing 737 was landing at the Ghanaian national airport from the Togolese capital Lome when the accident occurred at 11am. The cause of the accident is unknown.
On June 2, 2012, an Allied Air Cargo plane overshot the runway at the airport and hit a bus, killing 10 passengers.
