Namsung adds Korea-Hong Kong-Haiphong weekly loop with two 640-TEUers
KOREA's Namsung Shipping and its affiliate Dong Young Shipping have launched a weekly service (KHS) connecting the Korean ports of Kwangyang, Busan and Ulsan to Hong Kong and Haiphong, reports Alphaliner.
The new loop complements Namsung's existing Incheon-HK-Haiphong service, turning in two weeks with ships in 690-TEU range, the OSG Bosstec and Vega Lambda, both chartered by Namsung and Dong Young. So far, Namsung had been offering services from Kwangyang, Busan and Ulsan to Hong Kong and Haiphong through slots on the strings of its compatriot Heung-A Shipping.
