The Baltic Dry Index fell Friday to 782.00, one of the lowest levels of the past year. The index is down nearly 63 percent over the past 12 months.

was volatile in early trading and fell 1.9 percent to $6.58.

opened higher Friday but failed to maintain its gains and fell 5 percent to $6.23.
Paragon Shipping Inc.

moved higher Friday and recently traded at $2.76, up 1.85 percent.
Tsakos Energy Navigation Ltd.
TNP 0.29%
was down 0.86 percent at $6.92.
Diana Containerships Inc

recently traded at $1.91, up 1.60 percent.
