OOCL announces Thailand terminal handling surcharge update
HONG KONG's Orient Overseas Container Lines (OOCL) has increased its Thailand Terminal Handling Surcharge to THB4,400 per TEU (US$133.68) and THB6,800 per FEU from January 9.
The move was made to recover operational costs, said OOCL, and applies to all dry cargo. Those seeking further information, were advised to contact their local sales representatives.
It also has an electronically controlled long-stroke engine with an exhaust gas bypass system offering the best in fuel consumption and a ballast water treatment system.
