CEVA to provide transport for Ford's Dearborn Truck manufacturing plant
CEVA Logistics, a leading Dutch global supply chain company, has announced that it has been selected to provide in the Detroit area transport services supporting Ford's retooled Dearborn Truck plant, which produces Ford's F-150 aluminum pickups.
CEVA has served Ford, both globally and in the US, as a transportation and logistics services provider for more than 20 years.
CEVA's transport operations will support the parts supply chain at Dearborn Truck, moving stampings and truck parts within the facility and then returning empty racks from within the Rouge facility downriver from Detroit.
"CEVA has long helped service Ford at Dearborn Truck," said CEVA vice president Kerry Zielinski.
"In fact, CEVA is relied upon for on-time and efficient transportation services at many Ford manufacturing facilities. We look forward to assisting with this exciting new product launch," he said.
