Main China ports post 6.7pc increase to 165.7 million TEU in first 11 months
MAJOR Chinese maritime ports posted a six per cent increased in the first 11 months of the year as container volume rose 6.7 per cent to 167.7 million TEU during the same period.
From January through November, Shanghai posted a 4.7 per cent increase to 32.4 million while Shenzhen was up 2.7 per cent to 21.9 million TEU, Ningbo-Zhoushan increased 12.4 per cent to 18 million TEU, Qingdao was up six per cent to 15.2 million TEU, Guangzhou rose 6.6 per cent to 14.8 million TEU and Tianjin volume increased 8.4 per cent to 13 million TEU.
