Combined coal stocks at China’s major Bohai sea ports up 4% on week
Coal stocks at China’s four major Bohai Sea ports rose by 863,000 mt or 4% week on week to 22.427 million mt Sunday, Qinhuangdao Port said Monday.
Coal stocks at Qinhuangdao jumped 14.8% week on week to 7.28 million mt and at Caofeidian rose 7.3% to 6.90 million mt, while stocks at Jingtang fell 6.6% to 5.7 million mt and at Tianjin fell 5.2% to 2.55 million mt.
The number of vessels queuing at the four ports totaled 40 Sunday, down from 65 a week earlier, Qinhuangdao Port said.
