Shanghai box volumes up 7.5pc in October to 3.02 million TEU
HE Port of Shanghai has posted a 7.5 per cent year-on-year increase in container throughput in October to 3.02 million TEU, according to Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG).
Year to date, the world biggest container port posted a throughput of 29.47 million TEU, up 5.4 per cent from 27.97 million TEU in the same period last year.
