Asia-Europe rates fall, but transpac up 11.5pc to US$1,239/FEU
THE Shanghai Containerised Freight Index (SCFI) fell 51.69 points to 911.03 last Friday, but also registered a US$248 gain to hit $2,139 per FEU to the US west coast.
And rates from Shanghai to the east coast of South America soared 57 per cent from the previous week to $1,298 per FEU with the implementation of a general rate increase.
