Paranagua, Brazil port call added to MSC's New Ipanema
The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has upgraded its New Ipanema service by adding a port call in Paranagua in the state of Parana, Brazil.
The new port rotation is: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen-Chiwan, Singapore, Durban, Santos, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Navegantes, Paranagua, Santos, Coega, Durban, Colombo, Singapore, Hong Kong, returning to Shanghai.
The first vessel to operate the new route is the 8,900-TEU MSC Arica, voyage number: FI441A, a company statement said.
The transit time from Shenzhen-Chiwan to Paranagua is 42 days.
