UPS My Choice expands to 15 nations; Access Point to Chicago, NY
UPS is to expand its "My Choice" and the "Access Point" network to provide online shoppers and global retailers new personalised solutions to manage residential package deliveries.
My Choice, the customisable online and mobile service where consumers choose delivery preferences, will now be available to consumers in 15 additional countries throughout North America and Europe.
More than 10 million US consumers already use My Choice to plan for their deliveries.
The service will now be offered to consumers in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Puerto Rico, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
"UPS My Choice has received outstanding customer response and continues to experience rapid growth with one new consumer enrollment every six seconds," said executive vice president and chief commercial officer Alan Gershenhorn.
The Access Point network is now available in New York City and Chicago and will expand to cover all big cities in 2015 adding in 4,400 store locations throughout the US in January.
Both retail solutions will also be available in Poland, Italy, Canada and Mexico later this month.
