Houston's IFLN forwarding network teams up with IAG Cargo to drive growth
IAG Cargo, the freight operation of International Airlines Group (IAG), has agreed an alliance with Houston-based forwarding network International Freight Logistics Network (IFLN).
IFLN will become the preferred global forwarder to IAG Cargo under the agreement and will benefit from access to IAG's 350 destinations. IAG Cargo plans to benefit from the opportunities provided by access to the IFLN network.
"IFLN will benefit from one of the world's most extensive global air cargo networks which, combined with our product portfolio, will unlock business opportunities for IFLN and its members," said IAG Cargo commercial chief David Shepherd.
Said IFLN president Michel Vanlerberghe: "The purpose of this is to add new business and to benefit from working together. The agreement reflects the desire of both IFLN and IAG Cargo have to commit to a long-term collaboration."
