CEVA opens first European Centre of Logistics Excellence and third globally
GLOBAL supply chain management provider, CEVA Logistics, has opened its first Centre of Logistics Excellence in Europe, in Ashby de la Zouch, in north west Leicestershire.
The opening marks CEVA's third centre following the launch of centres in Jacksonville, Florida and Singapore. The centres demonstrate supply chain optimisation and enhanced visibility, integrated services and technology to power efficiency, said CEVA.
The European Centre of Logistics Excellence will provide insights into CEVA's unique offerings and solutions for customers with business in Europe.
CEVA said plans to use this latest centre to build a strong knowledge centre in Europe, develop supply chain talents, offer best in class technologies and supply chain solutions to further strengthen its presence in the region.
"Customers today are looking for ways to enhance control and visibility to optimise their supply chains end-to-end which result in increased supply chain performance," said CEVA European chief Leigh Pomlett.
The centre is purpose-built and designed to take visitors on a tour through CEVA's end-to-end service. Within the centre, CEVA has constructed a mock-warehouse to demonstrate the latest warehousing management technology and other company system capabilities.
