HK cargo down 2.9pc in August to 1.88 million TEU, Singapore up 1.8pc
FIGURES from the Hong Kong Marine Department show the port handled 1.88 million TEU in August, representing a year-on-year decrease of 2.9 per cent from 1.93 million TEU in August last year.
Singapore's Maritime and Port Authority reported a 1.8 per cent increase in container movement in August, having handled 2.87 million TEU compared to 2.82 million TEU in August last year.
