MOL hikes Asia-Southern Africa rate US$150/TEU - $300/FEU next month
JAPAN's Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) will increase freight rates US$150 per TEU and $300 per FEU from Asia (including Indian subcontinent/Mideast) to South Africa, Lesotho, Zimbabwe and Mauritius from September 1.
MOL Liner regards the increase as a General Rate Restoration (GRR) on all cargo moving from Asia to Southern Africa, and "essential for us to sustain our service level".
