Ex-P3 man named CEO of Maersk Line's Asia Pacific Regional business
MAERSK Line has appointed Lars Mikael Jensen as the regional CEO of Asia Pacific business as of September 1, reporting to Stephen Schueler, Maersk Line's chief commercial officer.
Based in Singapore, Mr Jensen will run day-to-day business in Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. He was to take a leading role in the P3 Maersk-MSC-CMA CGM alliance, abandoned when it failed to win Chinese regulatory approval.

Mr Jensen joined Maersk Line in 1984 and has extensive management and trade experience from all over the world, including five years heading the Maersk Line organisation in Greater China.
