Financial Results for the Three Months Ended June 2014
In the first three months of the year ending March 2015, the U.S. economy
continued to experience a modest recovery, with economic activity rebounding from a downturn caused by the impact of a cold wave. In Europe there were continuing signs of a gradual upturn in overall economic conditions. Certain emerging nations experienced a slowdown in economic growth. The Japanese economy remained on a moderate recovery path, despite some signs of softness in consumer spending and other areas in the wake of the last-minute demand ahead of the increase in the consumption tax rate in April.
