CP and Teamsters rail traffic controllers reach tentative agreement
THE Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference Rail Canada Traffic Cob-nntrollers (TCRC-RCTC) have announced a tentative six-year labour contract covering 135 rail traffic controllers in Canada.
"I would like to congratulate this union for its leadership at the bargaining table," said CP vice president Peter Edwards. "This agreement reflects our ability to recognise the great work our rail traffic controllers do."
Details of the tentative agreement are being withheld pending ratification by the union membership.
