Hamburg Süd opens office in Nanjing
On 1 August, Hamburg Süd is opening an office in Nanjing, China. All tasks that were previously carried out by the Ben Line agency will in future be taken over by the new Hamburg Süd office. This includes daily operations, as well as Sales, Customer Order Management and container and Intermodal activities. The office will be headed by the General Manager, Steven Pu.
Services to and from Nanjing will be operated using feeder ships from the ports of Shanghai and Ningbo. The new Nanjing office will be responsible for all Hamburg Süd operations in the Yangtze area, the ports of Chongqing and Wuhan, and also Lianyungang.
Hamburg Süd operates at 20 locations in Greater China.
