CEVA opens City of Energy warehouse in Dubai's Jebel Ali port area
CEVA Logistics, a leading Dutch global supply chain management company, has announced the opening of its City of Energy warehouse in Dubai's new port area, the Jebel Ali Free Zone.
The facility, 27,000 square metres of warehousing and 10,000 square metres of yard space, is dedicated to handling oil and gas products, said the company statement.
The City of Energy will house CEVA's oil and gas customers and will be home to CEVA's dedicated oil and gas and project logistics team.
By sharing warehousing, IT systems and staff, customers benefit from an overall reduction of cost through the continuous application of standard procedures, CEVA said.
Said CEVA chief commercial officer Hakan Bicil: "We are optimistic about the progress of the region and the acquisition of new customers."
