Russia's UTair's 2013 profit rises to US$9.5 million, sales up 1.7pc
RUSSIA's UTair Aviation has held a annual general meeting for shareholders that resulted in the approval of an accountability report and profit and loss statement for 2013.
The parent group has been developing a third line of business, namely aircraft services that include maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) for fixedwing aircraft and helicopters, a company statement said.
Last year's financial results show that net profit amounted to RUB326.905 million (US$9.53 million) on revenues of RUB73.7 billion, up 1.7 per cent increase over 2012.
The carrier's operational programme, includes launching new routes and increasing flight frequencies, as well as by introducing new Airbus A321 aircraft into its fleet.
