Evergreen takes slots on UAE-S India-Colombo-Chennai service
SHIPPING line Evergreen has started offering a UAE-South India-Colombo-Chennai service by purchasing slots on Simatech's weekly Chennai-Colombo-Cochin Gulf (CCG) loop.
The CCG calls at Jebel Ali, Cochin, Colombo, Chennai, Colombo, Cochin and returns to Jebel Ali, using three Simatech-controlled containerships, ranging in size from 1,100-1,440 TEU.
The CCG will allow Evergreen to offer an improved coverage of South and East India ports from the hubs of Colombo and Jebel Ali, through connections with the Asean-Gulf ISC service operated jointly with COSCO, Wan Hai and Simatech (AGI).
Also, onwards connections will be provided by the Asia-North Europe (CES) service and with the west coast North America-Asia-Med pendulum (UAM) service.
