Russia's Transcontainer quarterly profit up 18pc to US$37 million
RUSSIA' rail group Transcontainer posted 18 per cent increase in first quarter profit to RUB1.3 billion (US$37 million), while the country's rail container transport market grew nine per cent, reported Reuters.
The company expects market growth in the mid-single digit percentage range for the full year and said that rising levels of competition in the container market may squeeze operator tariffs.
