Worldscale rates for Necochea, Argentina, to rise: Worldscale Association
Worldscale rates for loading and discharging in the Argentinian port of Necochea are set to rise, the Worldscale Association said in a circular Thursday.
“Due to increased port dues and dredging toll dues at Necochea, effective June 1, 2014, the Associations find it necessary to revise all rates involving loading or discharging at this port,” the circular said.
The new rates for voyages involving Necochea can now be obtained by adding $0.39/mt to the flat rate for voyages involving the port, it said.
