Rizhao port's container volume up 30.2pc to 867,000 TEU in 4 months
RIZHAO, a seaport in eastern China's Shandong province, posted a 30.21 per cent year-on-year increase in overall container throughput to 867,000 TEU in the first four months of the year, reports Xinhua.
Aggregate cargo volume in the period increased 10.45 per cent year on year to 119.83 million tonnes, accounting for 34.7 per cent of the port's annual throughput target.
Foreign trade cargo through the port rose 11.72 per cent year on year to 83.08 million tonnes.
