Tianjin Nangang customs checkpoint plans to open for service this year
TIANJIN'S Nangang port area in northern China plans to complete the construction of a 100,000-tonne navigation channel and open its customs checkpoint for service this year, reports Xinhua.
The total number of projects that have signed in the Nangang port reached 40 as of the beginning of the year, involving a total investment of CNY110 billion (US$17.6 billion), of which, construction of 21 projects have started.
Inbound and outbound ships in last year that transited the port reached more than 500 units.
