Jiangsu province to spend US$905 million on expressways this year
EASTERN coastal province Jiangsu plans to spend at least CNY5.63 billion (US$905 million) this year on expressway projects.
This year, the province will finish building Xuzhou-Jining expressway's section from Fengxian country to Shandong province, and continue a number of ongoing projects including the coastal highway, Funing-Jianhu expressway, Zhangjiagang port expressway, Yancheng-Dafeng Port expressway, and Xuzhou-Mingguang expressway, said Xinhua.
Meanwhile, Jiangsu plans to start building a number of new projects including the Suzhou-Yangzhou, Taizhou-Gaogang and Zhenjiang-Danyang expressway.
Jiangsu will also try to finish the Gaochun-Wuhu and Nantong-Yangkou Port expressway, and inaugurate the projects of Haian-Qidong, Xinghua-Taizhou, Liyang-Guangde and Liyang-Gaochun expressway.
