Shanxi's Wusu comprehensive bonded zone cargo value hit US$31.6 million
TAIYUAN Wusu Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the first of such facility in northwestern China's Shanxi province, saw its inbound and outbound cargo movement exceed 10,000 tonnes with value reaching CNY190 million (US$31.6 million) as of March 13 since it became operational in last October, reports Xinhua.
The number of inbound and outbound freight vehicles in the period reached 301 and customs declarations for import and export was 177. The cargo movements in and out of the bonded zone surpassed 53.62 million tonnes in the week from March 3-7 with the value coming in at CNY92.82 million and customs declarations reaching 84, all setting weekly record highs.
The goods through the bonded zone mainly include stainless steel sheet, cooler, casting molding machine and machine accessories.
