Suez Canal traffic suffers 4pc decline in 2013 to 16,516 transits
THE Suez Canal suffered a four cent drop in year-on-year traffic in 2013, down to 16,516 transits, reports Dynaliners Weekly.
Containerships were again the largest single segment at 6,014 of the year's total representing 35 per cent of the total, a decrease from last year's figure when it represented for 37 per cent of throughput.
