Two expressways linking Jiangsu and Shandong provinces pass muster
TWO provincial expressways, the Jiangsu section of the Lianyungang-Linyi Expressway and the Jiangsu's northern Feng County to Xuzhou section of the Jining-Xuzhou Expressway have recently passed completion acceptance check, reports Xinhua.
The Lianyungang-Linyi Expressway is the key component of the Changchun-Shenzhen Expressway and a major part in Jiangsu province's expressway network development plan.
With a full length of 51.33 kilometres, the Jiangsu section's starting point links the Shandong section of the Lianyungang-Linyi Expressway and its ending point connects the Nanjing-Lianyungang Expressway.
The Jining-Xuzhou Expressway connects Shandong province's Jining city and Jiangsu province's Xuzhou city. The northern Feng County-Xuzhou section is 62.2 kilometres long and is a major component of the expressway network in Yangtze River Delta.
