Shanghai FTZ simplifies customs clearance procedures for repair parts
SHANGHAI's free trade zone has started to offer streamlined customs clearance for spare parts for repair, Xinhua reports.
Repair parts usually come in large quantities with various specifications, which has brought difficulties to the logistics process. In view of this, the Shanghai free trade zone customs has allowed acceptance of the spare parts into the free trade zone prior to settlement of the customs formalities to meet time sensitive demands.
As of March 10, there have been 285 batches of repair parts that enjoyed such simplified customs clearance procedures.
